IT IS TIME TO CHANGE YOUR LANGUAGE

IT IS TIME TO CHANGE YOUR LANGUAGE

The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 2:12-13, “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.”

One of the most vital things in your walk as a Christian is knowing what to say when you're faced with challenging circumstances. When going through trials, some Christians tend to voice their fears rather than focus on God's Word; thereby unduly magnifying their situation. But it's not supposed to be so!

The scripture above makes it clear to us that there are things which have been delivered to us in Christ Jesus, and emphasizes the fact that we ought to voice them. And these things are found in the Word of God. So, when you are going through trials, God expects you to say what He has said about you in His Word, and not what you may perceive with your physical senses.

In the case of Abraham for example; God's Word came to him that he would have a son in his old age. From all natural indications, it was impossible for Abraham to have a son, because the Bible declares his body was as good as dead, and Sarah's womb was also dead.

But against hope he believed in hope, and called himself by the name God called him - “father of many”. He may have looked foolish to everyone, but he had heard from Jehovah, and that was all that mattered. You know the story; in due time, he had a son, because he refused to consider his situation, but held on to God's promise.

What has God said about you, and what have you been saying? It's time to wake up in your spirit and declare who you are in Christ! No matter what you face in life, settle it within your spirit that God's Word is truth, and has been given for your benefit. Meditate on the Word and declare it continuously.

Don't just pick a scripture and then say it in the sweet by and by; no! Let talking the Word, and saying those things which line up with the Word be your daily lifestyle. Condition your mouth to only speak those words that are consistent with God's provisions for you in Christ Jesus, and you would always live an extraordinary life.

Have a glorious week; and remember, keep speaking faith filled words.
God bless you.
