WEEKLY WISDOM:

THE POWER OF ONE (Judges 1:3)

After the death of Joshua, there arose a wicked King name Adonibezek a Canaanite creating havoc in the land. He prided himself in defeating his enemies and cutting off their big toes and thumbs of his enemies. He had done this to seventy kings. Now without Joshua to lead them every king who had attempted to defeat Adonibezek lost.

THE ANSWER

The Lord told them to join forces with other tribes in order to defeat this wicked king. When Judah attacked the Lord gave the Caananites and Perizzites into their hands and they struck down ten thousand men at Bezek. It was there they found Adonibezek they fought against him and routed the Caananites and Perrizites. Adonibezek fled, but they chased him and caught him and cut off his big toes (Judges 1:4-6)

I believe the Lord is calling the Body of Christ in the Land together to operate in unity in order to defeat the wickedness in our cities. However the key to victory is the willingness for Pastors, churches, and intercessors to work together as a unified army. Jesus prayed, " May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me."(John 17:23).

God calls each of us individually and corporately to represent Christ in the world. But our independence, pride and individualism often prevents us from becoming unified in the purposes of Christ. When unity takes place in the body of Christ Jesus responds by allowing the city to respond to Jesus. Read Acts 2.

THE TIME IS NOW

The time has come for us to put aside our pettiness and egoistic tendencies and forgive one another. It is not about us. It is about the kingdom Of God. For together we stand as a family. Divided we fall! If we cannot forgive one another then we are not morally and spiritually justified to preach forgiveness. We become like the Pharisees.

Our outlook on life should be one of deepest humility. Let us cultivate self effacement always give up an advantage in favor of the other person. Some people may think the sublime is born of an inferiority complex. There can be nothing farther from the truth. It is rather a philosophy of loving and serving one’s neighbour as one’s self.

IT IS TIME TO BE KINGDOM-MINDED

It is time to give up what we are holding on to. Anyone who responds to acts of love, forgiveness and humility is thinking about the kingdom. For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

THE HEALING PROCESS MUST BEGIN NOW!

For the work is plenty. Stay Blessed.
